Here's a simple recipe to get you on your way!
This recipe is for one serving but can easily be multiplied.
You'll need:
1 1/2 cups of any kind of milk you prefer (including all nut milks)
1 teaspoon of honey
1/2 teaspoon of ground turmeric
3/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon of ground black pepper
What to do next:
- In a small saucepan, combine the milk, honey, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and black pepper. Heat on medium until warm, whisking occasionally.
- Pour into a mug, serve with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.
You can also make it iced:
- Fill one glass with ice and 3/4 cups of milk.
- Using a blender, blend the remainder of the milk with the honey, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and black pepper.
- Pour the blended mixture over the ice, stir and serve.
